Hello everyone! My name is Melissa and I am a professional photographer located in Raleigh, North Carolina. I specialize in maternity, newborn and baby photography. I offer studio photography year round and outdoor photography sessions March-November. I am originally from Long Island, New York but have lived in the Raleigh area since 2001 and I love it here! I have an amazing husband, a beautiful 2 1/2 year old little boy and two sweet kitties named Cooper and Colby (I’m totally outnumbered by the boys in my house!). When I’m not taking care of my family or chasing playfully after kids with my camera, I am taking care of critically ill patients as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit here in the Triangle.
As a photographer, I love capturing the tiny details. My style is sweet, soft, and filled with lots of cozy goodness. I have a large collection of carefully selected props, backdrops, blankets, hats, headbands and wraps that I design and coordinate each session with. I’m probably one of the most detail oriented people you’ll ever meet! My goal is that each and every one of my clients is absolutely thrilled with their experience with me from booking to delivery of their portraits.
