Lilliana was photographed at 8 days AND 8 weeks due to her being born with hip dysplasia and having to be in a special harness full time for about the first 6 weeks of her life. I had my clients still come to their regularly scheduled newborn session so that we could capture the details of their little darling girl just as she is at 8 days of life. That is SO important and I’ll show you why. Through the photos I’m about to show you, you will see the incredible changes that happen in just a few short weeks. I am so glad that we captured Lilliana as a true newborn baby so that all those little details were captured about what made her so fresh and new. At 8 weeks, she let me pose her for about 45 minutes, which is pretty rare at that age, but it was the style that mom really wanted and we weren’t truly able to get at 8 days due to her harness and limited positioning. When Lauren called me to tell me about Lilliana’s condition, I immediately offered up the solution of two sessions….and have them come back free of charge for the 2nd round for a short session just to see if we could get the images that Lauren had dreamed of. I’m thankful she said yes and we both took that chance because we truly got some amazing photos that day. :) I’ll never forget this little girl who so sweetly dreamed while I posed her at 8 weeks old. Definitely my oldest posed baby in the studio! ;)
