So I mentioned in my last post about Kenzi and Presley that some of the images were a composite for safety. What does that mean? That means that a spotter was in use and two consecutive images were taken and then merged in photoshop to make it look like there was no spotter. My dear friend and local photographer Heather Lauffer was on hand yesterday to assist me during my first twin newborn session and I can’t thank her enough for making the session go that much more smoothly. We worked so well together, that I’m sure we will be working together more in the future for the same purpose! Here is a Before & After of how I created the final image. The first image is the unedited RAW file in Bridge and the last image is the fully retouched final image.
I love the final image. Any pose that I feel the baby can’t quite hold on their own, for safety reasons I set up a composite image to be edited later if I feel the pose is worth the extra editing time. This one was for sure! :) As you can see from the original images, the babies were comfortable and sweetly sleeping the entire time.
