About Melissa
Melissa Berg is a Long Island, New York native but has lived in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area since 2001. She has been photographing expectant mothers and newborn babies since 2009. Melissa is also a Registered Nurse and worked in the Cardiac ICU for 6 years until she decided to be a full time work from home mom to pursue her entrepreneurial and artistic passions. She has absolutely adored bringing Triangle area families joy with their maternity and baby portraits. She would be honored to share her gift with you and give you an incredible experience that you'll never forget!

I have 10 years of specialized experience in maternity, newborn and baby photography. I am married with 2 beautiful sons. I am also a Registered Nurse and worked in a Cardiac ICU for 6 years until I decided to be a full time "work at home mom". I would love to get to know you better and watch your family grow!

Newborn portraits are so very unique! Babies change incredibly fast and there is limited opportunity in the first few weeks of life to get the style of posed sessions that Melissa is so well known for. When choosing a newborn photographer, it is vital to choose someone who has plenty of experience, not just in photography, but in the safe handling, care and expert posing of newborn babies.
